A Walking Man
A walking man may never know Which way his rugged trails may go But always takes time to pause and reflect Upon the miles his feet have trekked.
The vistas: always majestic and engaging Being thankful for each breath he is taking The walking man continuously searches Each step leads him on in his purpose.
For the walking man the point is to learn Of more flora and fauna around every turn And share from his heart with each kindred soul To awaken new dreams and steady the goal.
But sooner or later all tails must end So the walking man pauses to catch his wind Then someone queries "Why do it again?" The walking man replies "Because I can."
