To my friend I met along the way,
To my brother who is miles away,
To the one who has shared so much with me
From the wave-crest ocean to the aspen tree.

Who has laced his insight with patience and trust,
following his step - leading where he must.
Behold the virtues of his calm inner soul
Believing onward and upward is life's precious goal.

Would life be complete without a friend like this?
