LIGHT (for Carlos S.)

All along the path are found jewels that simply light the way. There is no end to the journey of light as it streams through the universe in everpresent sight When the afterglow of evening's color subsides, the twilight mystery sends ripples through the skies. When Carlos wails on guitars strung high, ecstacy dances in the spiritual sky. Soul and Spirit mingle in the park, as everyone dances to feelings in the heart. Lead me on... to what's coming my way. Here is my hand reaching out to you... Never say never to what the sun has made new. Brother and sister the time is now to look to the light where the vision of a new day will surely come our way. Every time I reach the end I sing with joy, No matter how many tears the dance I still enjoy. Waves of Light... Particles of Joy... I sing to the Sun There is no reason why, I simply soar on the soul's wisdom high. Someday at last, when all is done... When all the tears are cried and the songs are sung... We will know the reason why we are One. Until then, before we die we will carry on with merely a sigh, sharing all that we have with all who will care... Sacrificing the darkness to the Light we all share.
