Tidal

So you were daydreaming, watching a familiar Sky --
While the tide was sneaking in to brush against your naked sides.

You felt the sand beneath your feet, slide towards the open sea -
So you thought about letting go and help the currents set you free.

Cause here the water gets so deep and you can float out of reach -
Of ex wives, charlatans and thieves, who stand waving, back on the beach.

So you listen to the sirens calling, singing softly on that far wave -
Harmonizing for every lost traveler whose journey started off heroic, brave.

There is no yesterday or tomorrow, just this new sense of wild abandon -
To be your companion On this hegira , that only has no room for anyone.

(Coda)
So you were daydreaming, watching that familiar sky --
While the tide was sneaking in to caress against your naked sides.
